Profile

Jon has a wide-ranging national practice in public and administrative law across State, Territory and Federal jurisdictions. He regularly appears in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Court of Australia, as well as other Federal, State and Territory courts and tribunals.

Jon is regularly briefed by Government and public agencies as well as corporate and individual clients. He has experience across a range of subject matter, including regulatory proceedings, environment matters, professional disciplinary proceedings, migration and social security.

Jon joined John Toohey Chambers in January 2024. He was formerly a senior lawyer with the Australian Government Solicitor and the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority.

Between October 2015 and December 2017, Jon was the Associate to the Hon Justice Fiannaca at the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
