Jon has a wide-ranging national practice in public and administrative law across State, Territory and Federal jurisdictions. He has experience across a range of subject matters, including regulatory proceedings, environment matters, professional disciplinary proceedings, migration and social security.

Jon joined John Toohey Chambers in January 2024. He was formerly a senior lawyer with the Australian Government Solicitor and the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority.

Between October 2015 and December 2017, Jon was the Associate to the Hon Justice Fiannaca at the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

On 1 August 2024, Jon was appointed as a member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (from 19 August 2024). He is currently not taking briefs.
