Nic has been a family lawyer since 2008 having been admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia as well as the High Court of Australia. He was a principal of a long-standing West Australian family law practice before establishing a boutique family law practice in 2018. He left that firm to join the Bar Association in 2025.

Nic has extensive experience in all areas of family law but has a particular focus on complex financial matters, child-related proceedings involving at risk children and appellate work.

Nic is a sitting member of the Executive of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia.
